Teenagers and Anxiety

Is your Teenager ..........

 

  • Moodier than usual?

  • Angry or prone to exploding or flying off the handle?

  • Not sleeping?

  • Avoiding their previously loved activity/sport?

  • Secretive or not wanting to talk?

  • Reluctant to go to school?

  • Needing more re-assuarnce and reaffirming regarding their abilities?

 

They could be suffering from Anxiety, as it doesn't distinguish between age, sex or ethnicity.

 

Anxiety can be scary, affect your mood, cause upset, frustration and often leaves you questioning 'what is happening to me"

 

According to Anxiety UK, 1 in 10 young people (aged 16-18) experience a mental health disorder.

 

Anxiety is a very common reason that teenagers seek therapy.
