My Approach
Models
The Humanistic approach, is an umbrella term for counselling
approaches which values the relationship in the therapeutic encounter.
My theoretical orientation predominantly integrates Person-Centered (PC) and Gestalt perspectives into a cohesive approach, although I do draw on and embrace some existential concepts.
Integrative Counselling
By combining my therapeutic models, I provide a unique approach for each client which will help you to gain insight into your issue, enabling you to bring about change
Sessions

I always work with you as the focus, you are the expert on yourself, even if you don't believe it, therefore sessions are determined by
you and whatever you choose to bring, I have no agenda.
​
I offer both short and long term, face-to-face, On-line and Walk and Talk Therapy. sessions are 50 minutes, with regular reviews to discuss how you feel your therapy is progressing.
BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
As an Accredited member of the BACP I adhere to their Ethical Framework, and committed to sustaining and advancing good practice. Accreditation status recognizes counsellors who have achieved a high standard of experience, knowledge and development since qualification.

Fees and Location
Fees
£60 per session (50 Minutes) for individuals
£75 per session (50 Minutes) for couples attending due to infant Loss.
I am not a 'Couples Counsellor'

Payment by cash on the day or by BACS transfer (preferable) 24 hours ahead of appointment.
​
Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation to avoid a 50% cancellation charge.
​
Appointments available daytime, evening and Saturday mornings.

I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs, answer any questions and hopefully ease any concerns you may have

Home visits are considered depending on reason, location and availability
