Hello, my name is Julie,
I originally trained and qualified as a Management Accountant where I spent much of my career working for a large well known Multi-National Company. I realised one day that my job was not fulfilling and it was negatively impacting all areas of my life. I made a monumental decision to retrain.
I am now a professionally trained Integrative Humanistic counsellor and an Accredited registered member of the BACP, (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) who is comfortable working and communicating with people from all backgrounds.
I spent my training working with Cancer patients and their family members at the Fountain Centre, St Luke’s Cancer Centre, Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford, and at Youthline, Bracknell, working with Young people (11-25yrs).
As well as my private practice, I work as a counsellor at a local school and continue to work at the Fountain Centre as part of the family bereavement team, counselling/supporting young people who have lost parents to cancer through group therapy.
